UTB Book Reading for The History Of Dying Stars

The History of Dying StarsPlease join UTB alumni and Brownsville native Oscar S. Cisneros in celebrating the launch of The History of Dying Stars, a book of poetry and art by Mr. Cisneros featuring 80+ poems and 16 different artworks by 12 different artists.

Location: UTB's UBCB Building (Building No. 40), 2045 University Boulevard, Brownsville, TX 78520

The event is sponsored by the University of Texas at Brownsville's English Department and EGADS!, the English Graduate Advancement and Development Society. Mr. Cisneros will be on hand to talk about his book, read a few poems and answer questions about the very exciting process of putting it together. Also on hand will be Ms. Leticia Rendon, the author's mother and one of the contributing artists in The History of Dying Stars.

The event will be held on the 2nd Floor Lobby of the University Boulevard Classroom Building (UBCB) on the UTB campus. Parking is available across the street from the UBCB building.
